EXPERIENCE WITH COOKING

Restaurant Nokka’s idyllic brick warehouse milieu has been put into effect with a well equipped experience Kitchen Kokka which may just be the right place for Your next unforgettable event.

In Kitchen Kokka You get to experience cooking with guidance by professionals, without forgetting a relaxed atmosphere. Alternatively You can start Your day with a meeting and end it with cooking dinner together.

The prices of the courses include teaching, materials, dinner that You enjoy together with Your party, facilities and recipes Depending on the theme of the course the cooking takes between 1,5 hours to 2,5 hours.

We have several set themes, but we also customise the courses for each party’s satisfaction, so only Your imagination is the limit. You can also choose to have a wine lecture wich includes carefully chosen wines for each course and guidance from our sommeliers.

In Kitchen Kokka the ideal size of a party is between 8 to 12 persons but we can accommodate Kokka evenings also for larger parties when we customise the evening according to the size of the party. In this case the evening can consist for example cooking, wine, after dinner drinks and bar themes etc.

We bill by the amount of people informed to us at least two (2) days prior to the reservation.

 

Pairing food and wine

For this course we have assembled classic dishes that are amongst the most loved ones in Finland but they can also be rather difficult to combine with wine. The idea of this course is to let the guests discover the best combinations themselves by serving several different types of wines or other drinks with each dish.

We recommend a crash course on how to make Sangría at 15€/person (min. 6 persons) with this tapas course.

It includes the Nokka Sangría recipe, the guidance by our maître d´ to make it, preparing the drink with the group and of course the drink itself. It is suitable for an aperitif, or to be enjoyed during cooking or during dinner.

The amount of vegetarians in Finland and all over the world is increasing. And why wouldn’t it be. You can create numerous different vegetable dish variations with many different techniques. This cooking course will guide you through Finnish organic vegetables and berries and create new tasting experiences.
